Headquartered in Calgary AB, the Canadian Charolais Association is recognized as the official breed registry for Charolais Cattle in Canada under the Livestock Pedigree Act (1960). Since its inception the Association has been guided by a group of dedicated, innovative and influential Canadian beef producers who see Charolais Genetics as the key to profitable beef production. With a high demand for Charolais bulls and breeding stock, the Charolais breed is driving efficiency and quality in Canadian beef production systems.
